I get asked all the time how long I've been "in shape". When I tell them that I didn't pick up my first weight until I was 44, they all have the same look on their faces. The next inevitable question is, "Well, then how old are you now?" And I tell them, and the look continues. Don't get me wrong, the look is a compliment and I tell them thanks. I took a shortcut to opening my gym at 50. By shortcut, I mean I taught special education for 20 years. I realize that all those years, which I loved, were actually just my training to become a coach. I never, ever thought I would leave teaching until I was given another passion. I am where I am supposed to be. I am doing what I am supposed to be doing, but more than that, I LOVE what I do. Find out more by watching my short video. Just click my photo below.
